I started working for HHC in 1988 at Elmhurst Hospital as an office aid. I later became Tech Support II, and since 1997 have been a Civil Service Medical Records Specialist. In my 30 yrs journey, many things have happened, and I've never been able to just sit and watch wrong stay wrong. I have used my voice and have gained respect from all levels of my colleagues and Administration. I have addressed my co-workers' issues as if they were mine, and with our new leadership team, I will continue to help members be heard on a higher level.
