I am a Supervising Public Health Advisor with School Health Vision Program. I have been working with the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for over 25 years. I am proud to have been elected with this team of leaders because we are a group of people who are willing to work for the members and involve them in the decisions that matter.
I honestly cannot recall the last time we had a Public Health Advisor Chapter meeting. It is so important that we stay informed and be able to disseminate information to the members, and also for members to have a voice in contract negotiations. In my position as 1st Vice President, responsible for supporting research and negotiations for our Local, I will implement our proposals to involve our members, Stewards and Chapters in negotiating the contracts that shape their lives. I hope that we can count on your support along the way!
