Local 768 invites you to a meeting on Tuesday Feb 25 at 7:00pm to nominate candidates for leadership of the following 3 Chapters that are forming:

• Dental Assistants & Hygienists
• Licensed Creative Arts Therapists (LCAT)
• Medical Record Specialists

What positions can I run for?

Nominations will be taken for the following 3 roles for each of the 3 chapters:

• Chair
• Vice-Chair
• Secretary

Chapter leadership is elected by members belonging to that particular chapter:

Who's eligible to run?

To be eligible for any Chapter leadership role, you must be both

• Working in a civil service title covered by the chapter (see chart above)

• DC 37 member in good standing

How do I nominate?

You may nominate yourself or any other eligible member in one of 2 ways:

• Nominate a candidate online, prior to the meeting

• At the meeting itself

If you nominate someone prior to the meeting, that person will be deemed nominated and does not need to be nominated again at the meeting.

When is the election?

After nominations occur, we will schedule an election to be held online and by mail as soon as possible assuming more than one nominee is confirmed for any of the positions listed above.
