DC37 Statement Calling for Telework Policy

STATEMENT FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HENRY GARRIDO CALLING FOR A TELEWORK POLICY

The time for a teleworking policy for City workers is long overdue. We called for one in September and we are again demanding one today. City workers have already sacrificed too much. How many positive case records must we surpass before City Hall decides to protect them? Our members have proven they can do their jobs from home. They cannot continue to be used as pawns in a political game. We demand the Mayor implement a teleworking policy immediately.
