Dear Members,

Local 768 will be holding a Zoom meeting specifically for the members who work at Rikers Island. I made a promise, during the campaign, to come and visit personally and this has proven very difficult to achieve. I am still committed to this goal. Until then, Zoom, and emails is the best way to communicate.

Over the past six months since the new leadership has been in place we have been aware of many of your concerns, and issues, from being locked out of accessing your personal emails, to safety concerns on certain units at Rikers Island.

Join us on Tuesday June 8, at 7pm to discuss the ongoing concerns and issues.
