Tier 6 update

Happy Pride, Juneteenth, Puerto Rican Day Parade, and more. June also brings us a New York State Budget. DC 37 successfully fought for and won the important changes to Tier 6, with lower employee contributions: More than 70% of DC 37 members in Tier 6 will now pay a 3% rate, and revisions to overtime rules. We’ll need to keep uniting and fighting to improve Tier 6.

Our Work. Our Contract. Our Fight.

Do you believe we deserve fair pay, safer jobs, and strong, fair, and forward-looking unit contracts that reflect the essential work we perform and the value we bring to the communities we serve? Have you signed the petition yet? How many of your coworkers have signed?

Become part of the win. Sign the petition and talk to your coworkers one by one about signing today. Infographic by Raj Mehta. Join our next meeting, June 30 at 7 pm to keep building our strong majority support, mobilize, and win -- together! RSVP here

Organizing conversations with your coworkers

Are you ready to talk to your coworkers about signing the petition and building our strength and unity to win? Remember to use your own time (breaks, etc). Check out our 768 1-on-1 Conversation Training by our very own Marg Curran, and check out this classic guide from Labor Notes
