Calling all MAT Leaders and Stewards: Join us for Labor Notes' Conference: Apr 19-21 in Chicago!
Bringing together union members, labor activists, and local officers, a Troublemakers School is an incredible space for networking, building solidarity, and sharing successes, strategy, and inspiration. It’s a real shot in the arm for newbies and seasoned activists alike.
Members who attend will get inspired. Hear speakers from the front lines of recent struggles.
They’ll also get trained. The one-day conference features interactive workshops, panels and meetings, ranging from crucial basic skills like helping your colleagues beat apathy to advanced topics like winning first contracts and running for union office.

Local 768 is here to support you attending!
Local 768 has approved financial support for a limited number of members to attend the conference. Those members will be eligible for reimbursement of the following expenses:
- Registration: $185 standard registration
- Meal allowance: $50 / day (up to 3 days)
- Travel: Standard economy class flights will be fully reimbursed
- Accommodations: Hotels don't charge to reserve a standard room, so interested members should immediately make reservations under their name, with their credit card. The local will then take over payment responsibility as we get closer to the conference.
