Lobby Day
Thanks all for a successful 2026 Lobby Day. We build power in our streets, our union, and our government as we lobby for Tier 6 Reform, taxing the rich, workplace safety, and other legislative priorities.

Unit Bargaining Update
For New York City workers, in addition to our contract that covers all DC37 members, we participate with other locals that represent Social Services and Health Services workers in Unit Bargaining. Our priorities are:
Added pay for added skills
- Licensure Differential
- Longevity Differentials (augment / add where missing)
- Ease of promotion with current city agency
Acknowledge the risks we face
- Correctional Setting Assignment Differential
- Mobile Crisis Assignment Differential
- Grant-funded position Assignment Differential
Support us staying
- Transfer within our agencies as our lives change
- Location premium for living in 5 boroughs
- Ease residency requirements for Mayorals
Improve work/life balance
- Workload limits to improve care and reduce burnout
- Expand and strengthen hybrid work options
- Options for alternate work schedules/compressed schedules (i.e. 4 day work week with longer hours each day)
Let’s build our unity to win. Join us March 31, 2026, 7 pm for our contract campaign launch, RSVP here.
