We are making progress! Health+Hospitals has agreed to include our voices in developing best practices across the system!

In our last Chapter meeting (Aug 24th), we made a final push for our petition to Health+Hospitals regarding the proposed changes to our job description and qualifications. We delivered that petition -- with nearly 500 H+H Social Workers signing, a majority of our workforce! -- to H+H's senior leadership (CNO Natalia Cineas and Senior Director of Social Work Services Eva Sanders) on Sept 28th, and received a very encouraging response.

Join us on Oct 26th to get a full report-back on that meeting, as well as the structure that we will be rolling out, including front line Social Work representation from each large facility, Gotham and other special programs.

We will also be discussing our upcoming Chapter elections, so please make every effort to attend!
