These are not normal times we’re living in. In an unprecedented move, Trump and Musk just last week unilaterally canceled union contracts for hundreds of thousands of federal workers, ordering federal agencies to cease collective bargaining operations with their employees' legally authorized unions. Unelected billionaires are trying to take everything they can get their hands on, and daring the world to stop them. And th stakes for us as fellow public sector workers, New Yorkers, and the communities that we serve could not be higher.
On Saturday, April 5 (tomorrow) - Local 768 is calling on you to take to the streets as part of a nationwide protest to fight back with a clear message:
HANDS OFF - SAVE OUR UNIONS - SAVE OUR SERVICES
- End the billionaire takeover and rampant corruption of the Trump administration
- Stop slashing federal funds for Medicaid, Social Security, and other programs working people rely on
- Stop the attacks on immigrants, trans people, and all marginalize groups
