Remember: Vote for Mayor
The NYC Primary Election is Tuesday, June 24, with early voting from June 14-22.
Here’s our DC37 ranked choice endorsement list of the candidates we are ranking for mayor.
Mayor Ranked Endorsement
- Adrienne Adams
- Zohran Mamdani
- Zellnor Myrie
This year, we have a choice to vote for a fairer New York. We know that NYC doesn't run without US, so it's time for our leaders to put working families first.
Join us for a virtual mayoral forum on Tuesday June 10 @ 7pm with union-supported candidates Zohran Mamdani and Zellnor Myrie.
Let's DREAM: Join the fight to get pro-worker candidates elected, and elect a mayor who will support a New York that works for all of us, not just billionaires, and whose legacy will be a fairer, more equitable city.
Do you and your family have everything you need to make your voice heard at the polls and elect leaders who will fight for workers’ rights over corporate greed?

Shawn Adams: We have to pull together to make things happen
Shawn Adams: “I’m an exterminator with the NYC Parks Dept. I’ve been with the City for 10 years now. I started in the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. I always wanted to be in the union and help fellow employees and fight for our rights. I took shop steward classes, and my peers nominated me for shop steward. We’ve been organizing in every borough, talking one on one.
Right now I’m working to start a chapter of the exterminators, uniting us across our union and local.Recently I got to sit in to help negotiate at the table to solve an issue where we were asked to train City Parks Workers. I’m working on getting us to organize and fight for us to have opportunities for promotions. This is our union and it takes a team. We’re strong in numbers. We have to pull together to make things happen and get results.
Juneteenth & Pride
This month we celebrate liberation: Pride and Juneteenth. Join DC 37’s Black History Committee to uplift and connect our histories of Black freedom struggle, and our Pride Diversity Interest Group (PDIG) to support all union members in the lesbian, gay, bi, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) family.
